Meet Brad Batt

Brad Batt is a dad and a small business owner who built his business and raised his family right here. He's never taken a dime of corporate money, and he'll answer to his neighbors, not Nashville. Most of all, he's tired of watching the Republicans who run this state look after everyone except the people who live here.
He is running because the Republican supermajority that sets the rules about what you pay, which doctor you can see, and what your kid's school gets has never had to worry about any of it.
Washington County deserves a representative who works for the people who live here, not for the Republican supermajority.
Why I'm running
This is my home. I built my business here and raised my family here. I love Northeast Tennessee: the mountains, the music, and neighbors who show up when you need them. But too many people are falling behind:
- Working people who can't afford rent, let alone a home of their own.
- People skipping the doctor because one visit could wreck the budget.
- Families paying tax on groceries and struggling to cover their monthly bills.
- Teachers buying supplies out of pocket while Republicans send millions to private schools.
- Instead of lowering costs for working families, our government is spending millions of our tax dollars on AI surveillance systems to track our every move.
None of this had to happen. The Republican supermajority in Nashville chose it, and this election we can choose something better.
